A little over a year after releasing his debut EP – which was very aptly named The Start EP, Stays Da Whyce has followed up with a sophomore offering titled On The Road. According to the rapper, the EP is so-named because “it’s a long road to the top, achieving success,” but is regardless, “on the road to greater heights.” From Hustler Music – a vim-giving soundtrack to life’s daily hustles – to Don’t Shoot – a homage to black lives lost at the hands of racist police brutality in America, the songs on the tape altogether perfectly reflect the driving force behind making the tape which, according to the rapper, is “to project and promote a message of universal goodwill,…reflecting the world around us as well as the societies we live in.”

On The Road is a 5-track tape of reflections and commentaries by a clearly self-aware artiste on a distinguishable mission.

From ‘Hustler Music’ – a vim- to Stays Da Whyce, was “a mission to project and promote a message of universal goodwill,…reflecting the world around us as well as the societies we live in.”

On The Road is available for free download.
