“To me, music is life. Music is food to my soul. Music is the only reality i know. An escape route from all my distress. Many times people will argue that’s a cliché. But a cliché is just another disguised truth. Those who obey and follows it ends up in a complete state of euphoria. Music is the only way i am able to truly communicate my feelings,Whether i am listening to or making one. It’s my way of contributing to a positive change in humanity. I am an artiste but most important an artist who paint pictures with his words. I incorporate in my music real life experience of myself as well as others to create a positive effect on people. That way i am also able to connect with my fans better. I believe the type of music i make touches souls. I fuse western hip hop with my Ghanaian culture to bridge the gap between western and African music. I believe Africa have great stories and very rich and dynamic cultures and what better way to learn and teach others other than through music? No matter the mood you are in, TRIPP_nie has the right music to steer your energy into a positive one. My first mixtape released back in 2014, “AMBIVALENCE” was a great success. It gained me an appearance on DJ BLACK’s cypher on Viasat1 TV and videos i shot for “MORE VIM” off that tape also got airplay on most TV stations. I followed up this year with “Little Minds”, with the famous track We all need a high video Having airplays on GhOne TV and spider Lee tv. I am set to release my first EP titled “Cedi With No Dream” early September. Subscribe to my soundcloud And youtube channel by searching (TRIPP_nie). “Temple is a UK born Ghanaian rapper known in real life as Jason Yeboah. He was born in Leytonstone, London on 3rd May in the late 80’s to Ghanaian parents. Temple’s love for hip hop began at the age of 14 when his older brother and cousin, Bullet one half of the dynamic duo Ruff n Smooth, introduced him to the genre.
Temple caught the eyes of many when he released his 1st single titled “Ballin” produced by Bra Kelvin. He went ahead to create more waves when he followed that hit single up with a ground-breaking freestyle of a Jay-z instrumental; Jason’s P.S.A, Ransom Freestyle and the critically acclaimed “That State of Mind”; over common’s Blue sky instrumental– creating waves in the GH Hip-Hop scene. He is to a large extent, also regarded as a great lyricist due to his unusually impressive technical lyrical abilities. Most of Temple’s works have received positive reviews with many hip-hop fans appreciating his music and his lyrical abilities.
He has performed on big platforms such as Ghana Rocks 2014, 2015 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards Fan Park, The Rapperholic Concert, The B.A.R. Concert 2014, The B.A.R. Concert 2015, AfroBeats Festival 2014, Bless the Mic, etc. He recently released his debut mixtape dubbed Khakis & Vans.
