Copta is the Afro Hip-Hop artist. Wordplay is everything. He raps in vernacular mixing his English with a bit of Broken English, Twi, Ga and Fante on occasion much like the average Ghanaian would in conversation. His approach to music is a Fusion of traditional hip hop with soul and trap among other genres. The iconic GH Rap sound coined by the Skillions family remains constant throughout his works. “For me, music has always been the answer to life’s many questions. Life is a learning process so I share messages through my music hoping someone can take something from it as I’ve taken from others. The more we know, the more we grow”

“Daring and Different are two words that describe AYAT’s brand of music and stagecraft. Born and raised in Madina, a suburb of Accra, AYAT has carved a niche for himself in the Afrotrap and Afrobeats genre with his genre-bending style. His relentless quest for originality has been recognized by the legendary music producer Hammer of the Last 2 who, after hearing AYAT’s “IDKY” single said of him that “He has started a revolution”. This revolution is born out of the rich lyrics of AYAT’s songs, which are steeped in African tradition and mixed with western production style. AYAT’s songs have both underground feel and mainstream appeal, something only few musicians are able to achieve.”
